Two years ago, after graduating from college, I decided to give my life to Jesus. I left the United States and followed Him around the world, hungry to know Him. Two years ago, I was on track to continue my education in Psychology, but the Lord intervened and changed the trajectory of my life. I had many different jobs between high school and college, searching for the 'thing I loved most.' But, as I've walked with Jesus, I've found purpose in who I am, rather than in what I do, and I have deep desires for the fullness of life and for the glory of God!
Two months ago, the Lord invited me to move to Lawrenceville, and I accepted a part-time position at GateCity Church. I've also become a member of our young adults' community, Gatekeepers ATL. I'm excited to live life here. Spending part of my week at the church, I have time for another job. I love coffee, but I have never had the time or chance to learn the art of making it. I've had a little dream of being a barista for a while!
I moved overseas for 11 months on mission with an organization called the World Race. I traveled with 20 young adults to minister in 6 different countries, growing in the Lord, and growing in community! Once I returned home, I felt really passionately about discipleship and paying it forward to the organization, so I led a 6 month trip to Africa and Asia 3 weeks after returning to America, to give away what had been given to me. This experience changed my life in the most dramatic way possible.
