While working in retail for the last 3.5 years, I have picked up many skills, such as making sure everything in store is going smoothly; making sure projects are being finished within a specified time frame, or as soon as possible; and also how to interact with customers to make sure they leave the store feeling like it is a place they would love to continue shopping at. I also believe that having a healthy friendship with coworkers is another great thing I have picked up, as it can make work fun, and easy as well.
While interacting with the public for these last years, I’ve gained a great sense of communication, and how to effectively engage with most people.
I have also learned through this last semester, how to effectively communicate in professional, business, public, and group settings.
Assist customers in locating and buying desired items.
Assisted colleagues in optimizing shelf and rack arrangements.
Collaborated with team to optimize in-store customer experience.
