Traveling full time, performing maintenance, repairs, and component exchanges on GE turbines. Calibrating torque tools and performing inspections alongside a crew of wind technicians. Our job was to ensure the old hardware/components were being removed properly and replaced with the new. Position goal is to monitor and assist the correct procedures during the reconstruction process specifically for the customer and part manufacturers specifications. During my time I was leading teams for repower, and single tower repower learning and demonstrating skill sets in all aspects. Hardware exchange, component exchange, and got exposed to the wiring aspect of both builds as well. Large part of the position was sharing an accurate visual outline of the days work schedule for the entire site via Excel.
