Jennifer Juniper Events
02.2015 - Current
  • In-depth knowledge in electronics is instrumental in maintaining, adjusting and repairing specialized electronic equipment used in events, ensuring that there is no lost time or revenue due to equipment malfunctions.
  • Staffed events by maintaining an accurate list of available equipment and reliable service providers.
  • Coordinated efficient set-up and clean-up for each event for quick facilities turnarounds.

Material Control Supervisor

Helicopter Squadron Two
07.2012 - 10.2014
  • As a recognized expert, was sought out by Mid-Atlantic Regional Calibration Center (MARCC) top leadership to lend expert technical knowledge in all aspects of calibration, adjustment and repair for regional commands, reducing turn around time to seven days, well below the standard of 14 days, reducing overall work load across multiple work centers.
  • As work center supervisor, implemented six work center program operating procedures facilitating the management of 22 flight packets, fuel chits, credit card expenditures, and requisitions, decreasing work center error rate by 20 percent, and distributed 117 high priority requisitions and over 1,709 low priority requisitions.
  • Lead a team of 25 junior sailors of diverse ratings in packaging, palletizing and shipping of critical assets in support of 22 helicopters, directly increasing productivity by 12 percent for all 1,065 sorties and 2,967 mishap-free flight hours.

Calibration Laboratory Manager

USS George H.W. Bush
07.2008 - 07.2012
  • Due to the vast knowledge attained during the first tour at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Calibration Center (MARCC), was assigned to help establish the Calibration Laboratory on the USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77); consisting of four calibration work centers, with over 1800 National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable standards. Tasked with acquiring, inventorying, and disseminating all Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) required by the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department's (AIMD) avionics shops.
  • Led and directed 17 technicians in completing calibration actions, coordinating depot level repairs, and correcting calibration database errors, increasing USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77) calibration readiness to 98 percent, receiving two consecutive Measurement Science and Engineering Department (MEASURE) Operational Control Center Excellence awards.
  • Meticulously scheduled and tracked the completion of all critical On-Site calibrations for reactor and engineering departments, resulting in above average passing marks for the Pre-Operational Reactor Safety Exam.
  • Supervised and directed junior sailors in calibration and repair of critical systems for the USS San Jacinto (CG-56), directly resulting in the passing of their Board of Inspection and Survey Visit.

Intermediate Level Calibration Technician

Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center
06.2004 - 07.2008
  • As the established technical expert in aviation test sets, used expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills in calibration, alignment, and repair of Test and Measuring Systems (TAMS) for multiple work centers, reducing heavy backlogs and increasing turn around times.
  • Directly tasked with disassembling, troubleshooting and recalibration of of TAMS that were affected by a building flooding mishap, averting tens of thousands of dollars in repair and recertification.
  • Prior experience in operation and maintenance of AN/ALM-156 Systems enabled the troubleshooting and performance of depot level repairs, reducing down time, need for parts, and repair cots.
  • Provided training, theory of operations, and troubleshooting for Vertical Instrument Display System (VIDS) Line Test Systems (VLTS), ensuring work center maintained maximum readiness and increasing shop efficiency.
  • Assisted other work centers with heavy backlogs with repairs, alignments and calibrations, leading to decreased turn around time for the Navy's mid-Atlantic region.

Intermediate Level Calibration Technician

USS Iwo Jima
10.2002 - 09.2004
  • Performed calibration, repair, and alignments for Test and Measuring Systems (TAMS), as well as on-site calibration of carious electronic/mechanical systems and test benches, including the Emergency Diesel Generator temperature switches and gauges. Prior knowledge of electronic theory and experience of High Frequency Communication repair, helped in troubleshooting to the component level by calculating pulse and waveform signal flow in addition to the use of schematics and detailed diagrams.

High Frequency Radio Intermediate Maintenance Tech

Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department
08.1999 - 10.2001
  • Performed preventative and corrective maintenance on P-3E Communication/Navigation (COMM/NAV) and Secure Communications (COMSEC) equipment.
