I helped the client build a web application from ground up to meet their vision to transition from in-person yoga school to online amid Covid-19

The highlights of the project were:

• Retained over 80% of users within quarter of app launch and grew it to 200% within 2 quarters
• Established business requirements through meetings with key stake holders, focus group interviews and surveys
• Broke down business requirements to MVP, milestones, features, and user stories
• Maintained product backlog, set priorities, and planned sprints for timely delivery
• Facilitated conflict resolution between team, product owner, and business
• Created test plans, test scenarios, and test cases and gathered required test data for website testing
• Actively participated in team meetings to share knowledge, exchange ideas, address challenges, and collaborate on potential solutions.

-I helped the Nedbank Authenticated Collections team to achieve their goal to curb the fraudulent cases in loan processing by:

• Collaborated with line of business remediation leads (home loans), various functional stakeholders and other leaders across organization to speed up delivery process and product quality
• Developed documentation of test plans, technical documentation, release notes, end-user guides, training programs and/ or other materials as necessary
• Efficient in working in agile SDLC and have been involved in all aspects of testing including requirement gathering, analysis, design, UAT & post go-live support
• Gathered requirements by conducted meetings with test team to clarify them
• Increased test coverage of application from 60% to 90%, reducing high failure costs, and defining test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases
• Identified modules not to be tested and collaborated with BAs to clean zombie test cases reducing regression testing time by 20%
• Utilized time-boxing to help team resolve issues within 24 hours
• As part of Daily Stand-Ups, discussed any blockers with all team members, including Product Owner
• Conducted Sprint Planning for whole team, which included story estimation, decomposition, and negotiating sprint backlog items
• Utilized Jira to manage and maintain backlog, backlog grooming/refinement which included various stages like story estimation, decomposition, and prioritization
• Initiated Sprint Retrospective to determine ways in which to continuously improve project and stimulate discussions amongst team
• Tested Global Pay Plus application on various devices, browsers, and environments focusing on UI and initiating SOAP UI requests (API testing) within Nedbank and other banks
• Expedited cross-bank testing time by 70% by synchronizing test meetings with over 10 clients simultaneously
• Previously, QA team had one meeting per client
• Reviewed XML files to identify issues in requests and responses, nearly eliminating time required by developers to identify root cause of issue

• Automated entire booking flow using Selenium C# with Page Object Modeling design pattern and thereby reducing testing time at client's end by 90%
• Created Knowledge Transfer Documents, conducted Knowledge Transfer sessions, and recorded KT sessions for new members of QA team
• Leading Scrum Events (Backlog grooming, Release planning, Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Review and Retrospective meetings)

• Gathered requirements form stake holders and created wireframes, design for UI/UX to download granular data into excel or csv format through front-end tool
• Automated booking engine for entire FRHI brands using selenium C# with POM for smoke testing and saved testing time by 75% and reduced number of resources required from 3 to 1
• Changed waterfall methodology to Agile and introduced team members to Agile methodologies
• Coached Agile practices and scrum framework within team to ensure shift in mindset and facilitate events and ceremonies
