Rio Desvernine

From working as a barista at Starbucks to becoming a student leader in my high school theatre department, I've gained lots of experience working with other people. My job at Starbucks taught me customer service skills and collaboration, while my theatre leadership taught me valuable communication and management skills. Additionally, I've learned lots about acting and technical skills throughout my time in theatre. I've done work both in cast and crew, acting on stage in Chicago (Ensemble), Puffs (Ernie Mac), and Noises Off (Tim), and backstage for stage crew or ushering. In 2023, I was the Front of House manager for our school's productions and served as the International Thespian Society (ITS) secretary. The following school year, I was elected ITS Vice President.
