I was the youngest research Intern, my peers were all college graduates and pre-med students. This 3 months of research directly under the mentorship of the pancreaticobiliary/MIS surgeons had been my life steepest learning phase, resulting in a maturation in my thought process and development of appreciation of STEMs contribution to medicine and humanity at large.
