I started working in insurance as sales for State Farm and then went into a brokerage, after taking some time off, and realized that commercial lines was more for me. When i got offered the position as a Consultant i did not realize how detailed it was until i was handling accounts that had networths or over 100 million dollars and required a lot of time and research to make sure that everything was covered properly, and that is when i truly realized all aspects of insurance. Audits, financial reporting, claims, risk management of construction sites, cross selling, ect. I learned to adapt to the new position i was given and i thrived in it and enjoyed it for 15 years, till i was then given my current position at Acrisure of AE, which in itself is challenging, but i have learned that maybe i am still a risk manger at heart. I truly believe that i can serve Acrisure with my years of experience helping clients manage their risks, helping out on audits, and just making sure that the coverage they have in place is the correct one, and the policy that they have is written correctly.
