Through my work at Courage Center, I was paired up with a young adult male with cerebral palsy who wanted to learn songwriting. Music Therapy allowed for self-expression, self-esteem and social connections. We worked together throughout my internship, and continued our sessions beyond Courage Center for 5 additional years. I taught him everything he knows about music. Even after our years together he went on to release several albums of his original music. He is my greatest success story in Music Therapy!
