I currently work for LifeSkills, where I am responsible for a home with several adults who have intellectual and physical disabilities, as well as an array of medical needs, such as diabetes and seizure protocols. Daily, I maintain accurate records, including incident reports, progress notes, and medication logs. I am certified to administer needed medication to each individual. I must observe changes in the behavior or condition of individuals to report to the supervisor or medical staff promptly. I must adhere to all organizational policies and procedures related to HIPAA regulations. I use approved crisis intervention techniques in emergency situations, as well as implement behavioral interventions when appropriate, following agency protocols. I also developed a positive relationship with each individual by providing emotional support and guidance, and built a strong, trusting rapport with their loved ones. I am responsible for ensuring that all services are provided in a safe environment, free from abuse or neglect. I keep the home clean and well-organized, ensuring client happiness and safety. I do this by conducting household management tasks, such as light housekeeping duties and meal preparation. I plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, and I provide assistance with eating when necessary. I also organize leisure time activities such as arts and crafts projects, group games, outings, and must supervise and monitor the safety of clients during recreational activities. I also transport individuals to doctors' appointments, errands, and social outings.

I developed and maintained relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure successful tenders, and I provided excellent customer service at all times in a high-paced environment. I circulated within assigned areas to assess and address customer needs, effectively prioritizing tasks during peak hours. Communication with customers to take drink orders accurately was key to providing a positive, welcoming atmosphere. I was responsible for checking identification prior to serving, as well as monitoring guest consumption of alcohol, and intervened as needed, according to established guidelines. Cleanliness was essential, including ensuring all glassware was clean prior to use by washing glasses by hand or using a dishwasher, and cleaning the bar area, including wiping surfaces and disposing of trash. I processed payments accurately and efficiently with the POS system, and managed cash drawers at the end of each shift, ensuring the accuracy of funds received.
