Riya Patel

I’m a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student at MCPHS University, passionate about patient care and making a meaningful impact in healthcare. My journey began with an Associate degree in Biology and completing pharmacy prerequisites at Rutgers University, where I gained leadership experience through roles in the Hindu YUVA Club, Social Work Student Organization, Indian Student Association, and community initiatives like Community Engagement Day.

As a Braven Fellow and Capstone Challenge Winner, I developed skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership that continue to guide me.

I’m now focused on building clinical expertise, developing patient-centered skills, and preparing to contribute to healthcare as a pharmacist. I thrive in collaborative environments and am motivated by opportunities to learn, grow, and make a real difference in people’s lives.
