Involved in myriad of league matters, including (but not limited to) mediating disputes between teams, adjudicating disciplinary matters with players and coaches, serving as point man for media queries, engaging with potential business partners, and presiding over league meetings. Managed tremendous growth from 11 teams in 2018 to 17 in 2025, with recent All-Star Games broadcast worldwide on MLB Network.

Written or co-written eight books. Most recently, I co-authored Dale Scott's memoir THE UMPIRE IS OUT: CALLING THE GAME AND LIVING MY TRUE SELF, about which one reviewer said, "Scott and co-author Rob Neyer seamlessly transferred his honest and self-effacing voice to the page and made it look effortless." My previous book, POWER BALL, earned the prestigious CASEY Award as the best baseball book published in 2018.

Written multiple stories, most of them heavily reported, for The New York Times, Vice Sports, Yahoo Sports, Complex, The National Pastime Museum, and others. Utilized exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills to produce engaging and error-free content. Clips available upon request.

Host of weekly podcast, "SABRcast with Rob Neyer," featuring hour-long discussion with wide variety of guests (including Bob Costas, Jim Kaat, Brian Kenny, David Cone, and Tyler Kepner). Developed and maintained strong relationships with guests for compelling interviews and conversations over 250 episodes.

Worked closely with FOX Sports's marquee baseball writers, including Ken Rosenthal and Jon Morosi. Created standalone baseball "microsite" (Just a Bit Outside) and managed a large team of writers, including ex-MLB players Gabe Kapler and CJ Nitkowski. Co-hosted JABO Podcast with Nitkowski.

Managed national baseball coverage for SB Nation website, which included daily writing and editing, plus managing as many as four full-time writers, along with numerous part-timers. Developed style guides and editorial processes to maintain a consistent voice across all published materials. Became proficient with Chorus, Vox Media's proprietary Content Management System.

Created first-in-class baseball column that did a great deal to popularize the growing field of sabermetrics, later made famous in bestselling book, Moneyball (for which I was both a source and first-read editor). Later switched to daily blogging, and ultimately wrote more words for ESPN.com than anyone else in that site's history.

Organized research materials and managed office, maintaining a well-ordered workspace conducive to productivity. Worked as researcher, writer, and editor on legendary author's annual books.
