Provided both academic classroom instruction as well as hands on in a hangar environment regarding maintaining the various systems on the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to Army Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve service members. Trained students on aircraft maintenance procedures, common and special tools, using applicable manuals and references, aircraft forms and records, proper maintenance documentation in aircraft logbooks, shop and flight line safety practices.

• Performed and/or supervised operational checks and scheduled inspections, repaired and maintained aircraft systems and subsystems, to include the lubrication of required components and the removal and installation of aircraft subsystems, using special tools and equipment as required; assisted in the troubleshooting and inspection of aircraft systems, subsystems, and components according to all applicable technical publications and regulations; diagnosed and troubleshooted malfunctions in aircraft subsystems; maintained aircraft historical forms and records.

• Directed, monitored and performed overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more aircraft
• Worked with, coordinated and oversaw the work of subordinate aircraft mechanics
• Worked closely with the production control function to report current aircraft status; requested and coordinated specialist support for accomplishing maintenance exceeding sortie generation capabilities or time constraints
• Ensured aircraft documentation and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) accurately reflected the airworthiness of the Aircraft

Served as the Standardization Instructor for a UH-60 Air Assault Company; responsible for providing rotary wing support to the AZ Army National Guard; responsible for the accountability, discipline, training, morale, and welfare of 20 UH-60 Non-Rated Air Crewmembers; responsible for providing required instruction and training to aircrew members in order to meet both the command's wartime and peacetime mission requirements.

Served as a UH-60A/L Technical Inspector (TI) in an Assault Helicopter Battalion maintenance company supporting 10 UH-60A/L aircraft valued in excess of 60 million dollars; performed technical inspections and monitored the quality control program on aircraft systems and subsystems; assisted in the troubleshooting and inspection of aircraft systems, subsystems, and components according to all applicable technical publications and regulations; provided technical guidance on safety procedures with adherence to all maintenance practices; maintained 10 sets of aircraft historical forms and records.

Supervised and assigned work within the section; managed and prioritized workload according to availability of resources and equipment; coordinated maintenance actions with the maintenance officer or platoon sergeant to sustain optimum workflow of all maintenance; maintained awareness of the capabilities of section personnel and equipment conditions; ensured
subordinates were trained and capable of functioning within the unit; informed the platoon leader, maintenance officer, or platoon sergeant of any delays.

Served as a Platoon Sergeant in an Assault Helicopter Company; managed the accountability, welfare, physical fitness, administrative actions for 10 NCOs and 10 Warrant Officers; provided leadership, mentorship, and training to all Soldiers in the platoon; maintained the serviceability of 10 UH-60 Helicopters valued at over $60 million; developed the Platoon Leader's aviation maintenance plan; assisted and advised the Platoon Leader in all matters including training plans; taught and
instilled crew resource management procedures to all Soldiers; assisted and supported the First Sergeant in all matters; maintained the platoon's personnel readiness.
