I was the liaison between Production and Maintenance departments
I facilitated daily planning meetings for work order processing and prioritization
I reported out on KPIs monthly to management
During this time I was the Project Manager for the Scrubbers during the scheduled outages
While I was the Project Manager improvements were made in our maintenance in the absorber towers
First I bid out the installation of handrails in the scrubber towers to allow safer maintenance work in the towers and eliminated multiple fall hazards
I also started installing 317L alloy that does not require coating year after year in the support structure of the towers
I also introduced removal of the coating with 20k pressure water instead of the traditional sand blasting
This cut the price in half for the liner removal as well as resulted in a cleaner environment for the repair work to be performed in
Every outage I managed came in under budget allowing the purchase of more 317L alloy to be purchased for the following outage
