  • While I was the Project Manager improvements were made in our maintenance in the absorber towers
  • First I bid out the installation of handrails in the scrubber towers to allow safer maintenance work in the towers and eliminated multiple fall hazards
  • I also started installing 317L alloy that does not require coating year after year in the support structure of the towers
  • I also introduced removal of the coating with 20k pressure water instead of the traditional sand blasting
  • This cut the price in half for the liner removal as well as resulted in a cleaner environment for the repair work to be performed in
  • Every outage I managed came in under budget allowing the purchase of more 317L alloy to be purchased for the following outage

  • Filling out and calling in daily logs for production work that has gone on for the day as well as problems that have arrived for the day and how the overall plant is running for the use of all AB Brown supervisors and managers to hear and read
