Performed as a working manager. Oversaw the training and growth of all staff. Developed a phlebotomy and IV education class for all employees. Performed urinalysis and urine cultures as needed and assisted in chemistry and hematology as needed. Was responsible for the performance of all phlebotomists employed. Oversaw the full operation of mobile blood drives throughout New York State. Developed new staff and ensured their smooth transition to work on blood drives. Overlooked scheduling as well as hiring and firing if needed. Took part in weekly management and problem-solving team meetings. Perform apheresis and autologous donations for patients as needed.
