Managed Army Programs to include Biosurety and Physical Security. Provided technical advice and guidance to the Command on the establishment and operation of Physical Security plans and programs relating to the new requirements of Bio-Security. Developed initial Standard Operating Procedures for the Physical Security and Inventory Control of Select Agents. Developed the Biosurety Database in Microsoft Access to monitor the status of Biological Personnel Reliability Program (BPRP) requirements. Participated in regular laboratory inspections for compliance with all pertinent Biosurety regulations. Extensive knowledge of CDC, DoD, Army Biosurety,
Select Agent and Toxins as well as reviewed policy directives from DoD, DA, MEDCOM, and MRMC concerning the Army Physical Security Program. Coordinated the implementation and maintenance of a facility-wide identification system and physical security controls including locks and keycards to protect government, contractor, and personal property. Managed and re-designed the Electronic Card Access System to achieve enhanced control and accessibility over restricted areas of the Institute in compliance with evolving Biosurety requirements. Liaison with superior and other headquarters to ensure proper understanding of Physical Security requirements/needs for the Institute. Consulted with Garrison Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer to implement policy and design protection for the Institute.

At the scene, made an independent preliminary assessment of the patient’s condition and selects from a variety of prescribed protocols. Provided the treatment as prescribed in the protocol;
made modifications to the protocol, if necessary, within prescribed limits. Determined with due regard to the patient's condition, if and how he can be moved, and to which medical facility he should be transported. Prioritized treatments for patients having multiple problems and employs a variety of established emergency medicine techniques, methods, and equipment at the appropriate medical facility.
