Coaching youth soccer

Coaching youth soccer has always been a passion for me as I got to spend time with my son and now my granddaughter.  In May of 2001 I was able to take my son's soccer team all the way to state and we won.  It was great to experience that with my son along with all the other boys on the team who all attended NISD schools.  I am now coaching my granddaughter's soccer team at the YMCA and I have now been doing this for 7 years since I retired.  I instill in them the value of team work and how important it is to give back to their community. I find it important to keep a positive attitude with them and to promote good physical and mental health.
