Kimley-Horn provided planning, design, and construction phase services for the reconstruction of one of the primary departure runways and parallel taxiways. The project included full-depth reconstruction of 17” PCC section; replacing the storm drain system; infield grading; underdrain system; saw-cut grooving; pavement markings; replacement of airfield electrical including runway centerline lights, runway edge lights, elevated runway guard lights, in-pavement runway guard lights, taxiway edge lights, guidance signs, pavement surface sensors and replacement of NAVAIDS including PAPIs; REILs; and RVRs.
