  • Hired May 19th 2011 as stocker, withing 120 days became full-time employee.
  • Promoted to Supervisor of Costco's "Front End" 13 Months after hire.
  • Learned how to monitor workflow for over 50 employees at any given time. Including managing cashiers and assistants, write employee work schedules. Handle multitude of member complaints, judge flow of business and how important it is to take care of our members while rewarding our Share Holders.
  • Transferred positions to become our Buildings Membership Supervisor 9 Months after. Upper Management (GM & Asst GM) felt due to my previous experience as small business owner that I'd respond well to the challenge.
  • End of 2013 I was Promoted to Membership Manager where I learned to met weekly/monthly benchmarks, how to handle to vas quantity of member issues, return product concerns and much more.
  • February 2015 Costco implemented new Membership program that I learned in order to teach and train all Membership employees. This program in still in use today in all Costco's nation-wide.
  • October 2015 accepted transfer as Assistant Front End Manager to Pearland TX to help open new locations (Pearland & Humble) where immediate focus became to interview and hire for two an entirely new buildings.
  • Nearly 2 weeks into arriving Pearland, Management didn't have an Employee willing to step-up and become the Bakery Manger so I did.
  • Late October 2015 became Bakery Manager. Learned requirements of position quickly so to teach and train new hires on heat, temperature, and quality requirements of products.
  • Evaluated employee performance, coached and trained to improve areas needing improvement per company standards and wrote weekly schedules 3 weeks out.
  • Maintained clean and well-organized production areas to avoid violations or unnecessary work delays due to hazards or inefficient layouts.
  • Mentored all employees on operating equipment and safety.
  • Conducted routine inspections of incoming product to check quality and compliance with established product specifications.
  • Repaired minor equipment to keep jobs moving smoothly, informing management and maintenance departments of major equipment failures.
  • 2017 transferred back to Novato California Costco as Full-Time Merchandiser to be a more present figure in my son's life. Volunteering my personal time to help with youth baseball, other sports and other activities in his formative years.
  • 2018 transferred to Vacaville Costco where I currently work. Have taken on Temporary Supervisor rolls based on the needs of the business when Management has asked.
