* Built, develop and lead a team of skilled Personal Trainers and manage their interactions with members in an effort to improve the lives of all Sport and Health members.
* Responsible for sales, profitability, member integration and retention. Achieve monthly revenue and operating income goals for personal training services. Manage new member integration via Smart Start and Point Of Sale PT Sales.
* Recruiting and staff development Actively recruit and hire personal trainers. Conduct interviews and define company expectations. Mentor Personal Trainers through new hire development program. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to all staff. Conduct a minimum of two staff development meetings per month for existing Personal Trainers. Introduce, expose and teach the most up to date, safe, fun and efficient methods of training to trainers of all levels thus promoting a well-rounded training staff. Conduct a minimum of one individual business development meeting per month for all Personal Trainers.
* Lead Management - Oversee and authorize lead distribution. Qualify all leads with the Member Questionnaire. Manage all point of sale interactions with new members. Contact and track all new members within 48 hours of enrollment utilizing the New Member List. Track all personal training leads on the Prospect Tracking List. Manage trainer renewal business on a monthly basis utilizing the PT Business Planner. Authorize and manage scheduled floor hours. Follow-up on all Smart Start and Follow up workouts utilizing the Follow Up File. Organize and conduct Special Events on Marketing Promotions Calendar.
* Business Administration - Implement all personal training standard operating procedures. Audit and authorize Kronos (time and attendance program), all item redemption reports and the CSI Scheduler daily. Verify and approve Personal Training Payroll bi-monthly. Review and manage personal training expenses via Company Financial Statements. Maintain personnel files for all trainers to ensure all staff is current with company-mandated credentials. Manager On Duty when assigned.
* Education Guidelines - Successfully complete company required education programs including but not limited to: Movement Analysis Training, Smart Start Training, PT Sales Training, Company Mandated Department Head Training. Maintain current company approved national personal training credential and CPR & AED Certification.
