Bobby Carricaburu

Bobby Carricaburu is a Senior Business Analyst currently living and working in Dublin, California. His areas of focus are statistics, supply chain and data mining.

As a Senior Business Analyst he provides analysis and financial acumen for the company's worldwide operations, including end-to-end management of supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries. He also plays a key role in the continued development of operations benefit tracking, ensuring flexibility and documentation in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.

Before being named Senior Business Analyst in November 2022, Bobby was Simpson's Senior Inventory Analyst responsible for procuring and managing fasteners for North America, as well as providing supply chain analysis.

Prior to joining Simpson, Bobby was a demand planner for Pottery Barn Kids and was responsible for overall inventory and sales forecast for the furniture department. He created strategies to drive performance to budget.

Bobby also spent 10 years at the University of Southern California's Library Services, most recently as a procurement analyst where he led procurement and distribution functions for the university's libraries.

Bobby earned an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a B.A. in Communication and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Over the years, Bobby has won a number of awards including SAP Appathon Innovation Creativity Award (2017), UC Berkeley Leadership Series Award (2017) and Simpson Excellence in Customer Service Award (2020).

Besides working on PMO projects, Bobby travels all over the world attending and speaking at supply chain conferences in order to gain new inspiration and inspire others.

When he isn't managing projects, Bobby loves mountaineering with friends and participating in fencing activities.
