Effectively manage the work activities of the Foreman, Labor and other personnel; ensuring performance expectations and customer needs are met.
Determine the amount of labor needed for each day and ensure labor is ordered appropriately for your assigned area.
Make decisions affecting overtime cost and general expenditures and ensure they are made in the best interest of our company and customers.
Ensure payroll accuracy and make appropriate changes as needed.
Ensure compliance with the company’s safety program.
Maintain positive relations with labor and ensure that the agreements are understood and adhered to.
Ensure that performance issues of Employees under his/her supervision are addressed, and corrective action/discipline is imposed when circumstances warrant.
Advise leadership of labor matters and assist in adjudicating all complaints filed including grievances.
Participate in regular training and feed-back to labor and management staff.
Ensure that all company policies, procedures and controls are followed and that required reports are completed accurately, submitted on time to appropriate staff, customers and other designated personnel.
Travel to support other operations as needed.
