  • On behalf of SHAPE Technologies Group, I am pleased to confirm the offer of employment extended to you for the non-exempt position of Machinist. In this position, you will report to Rick Tracy, 3rd Shift Supervisor. We will mutually determine your start date, but would like you to start on or before 2020-07-06. The following outlines your compensation and benefit package in consideration of your employment:
  • 1. You will be paid, as a non-exempt employee, a base hourly rate of $17.00 (targeted annual base salary of $35,360 and a bi-weekly rate of $1,360.00). Since you will be on 3rd Shift, you will also receive the corresponding differential of 10%. If you move to another shift, the differential will be adjusted accordingly.
  • 2. You will be paid a $750.00 sign on bonus upon completion of 90 days of service.
  • 3. You and your eligible dependents may participate in a comprehensive benefit package including group medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and company paid time-off. Based on your hire date, the medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits will become effective 2020-08-01. You will accrue a prorated PTO amount of 120 hours and the remaining company paid holidays.
  • 4. You will be automatically enrolled in the Shape Technologies Companies’ 401(k) Plan. The automatic enrollment means that 1% of pre-tax earnings will be invested in the default 401K offerings. The employer match contribution (50% of the first 6% which is up to a maximum of three (3) percent of eligible compensation) will begin upon transfer to SHAPE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP.
  • This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9).
  • Your employment with SHAPE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP is a voluntary one and is subject to termination by you or SHAPE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP at will, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at any time. Nothing in this offer shall be interpreted to be in conflict with or to eliminate or modify in any way the employment-at-will status of SHAPE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP employees.
  • The company reserves the right to assess, observe and evaluate for a period of time your ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job, work habits, conduct, attendance and relationships with coworkers and superiors. If the company determines the employer/employee relationship is not working out, the at will employment status will be invoked. Likewise, you may exercise the at will employment status at any time.
