- For 2nd shift (5pm-9pm) I run hoist to allow 1st shift operators to leave after their shift, so they don’t have to do overtime.
- For 3rd shift (9pm-5am) I set up work for employees to do, and I relieve hoist operators for breaks

- Inspect parts for damage and pack them according to customer requirements.
- HOIST OPERATOR
- I ran all three hoist positions for 4 years.
- Made sure all of the tanks were at the right temperature all night.
- Kept all anodize tanks full.
- SHIPPING AND RECEIVING
- Loaded and unloaded trucks with parts up to 20' long.
- Made sure all labels were filled out properly and fully.
- Banded up bundles and moved them to the shipping area
- SET UP
- I had to put racks onto bars
- Made sure they were set properly, so parts would fit and not fall off in the tank room
- Frequently we had to put the bars onto the stantions with a forklift.

- It was my responsibility to make sure that my machine was running and making good quality parts by checking them at least once an hour or once a basket.

- I was trained on the fork truck and how to fill the machines with various metals
- I was in charge of retrieving scrap bins and emptying them into the furnace
- Every hour we had to rake the furnace and make sure it wasn't getting built up and hardened at the bottom

- I was in this position for 7 months
- I was responsible for keeping all 10 of the machines running.
- I was responsible for training some of our new operators, or ensuring that the operator that was training, was doing a good job.
- I would cover lunches and breaks
- I would ensure that the operators had everything they needed.
- I was in charge of doing change overs and pulling dies out if something broke
- I was able to perform minor tasks on the die and robots to ensure the quality of our products.
- I worked on the trim press and replaced jigs on it if they broke or weren't performing properly
- I have replaced shot rods, hoses, hydraulic and air lines on robots, and anything else that was needed.

- In our section we had a fleet of 300 hundred vehicles, including Humvees, 2.5 ton trucks, 5 ton trucks, fuel trucks, and trailers to go with most of them.
- Our responsibilities were to perform regular maintenance when an operator informed us of the issue.
- PMCS our whole fleet every Monday and Tuesday to make sure that all of them were at their best for every operation.
