  • I was hired to work on extreme data issues that this airline found themselves with the FAA & their code share partners
  • These tasks have been primarily resolved
  • Have also implemented automation processes, and ATA Auto-coding resulting in approximately 1500 hours of labor savings by use of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Big Data Quality Assurance

BCC Software
  • Served as a senior QA engineer II at BCC Software in Henrietta, New York supporting the quality by monitoring of large postal databases for a small group of engineers, and data scientists.

CCD Manufacturing Operations

  • Served as member of a 3-person team supporting CCD wafer fabrication operation using Camstar MES system
  • Performed technical support to CCD Image Processor manufacturing for both Wafer Fab, and packaging in a Class100 Clean Room
  • Provided 24/7-365 On Call Support for entire IT infrastructure for the Camstar MES
  • Provided system administration work supporting Internet Information Server
  • Resolved system issues and created several applications and retrofits to the MES system and SAP
  • Additionally, performed adhoc queries at the request of management & the scientific, & engineering community.

SAP Integration

  • The Camstar MES offers SAP integration but at a cost that Eastman Kodak management did not support
  • Created a home-grown alternative that basically monitored Lot Creation, and Lot WIP (Work-In-Progress) cost gate activity, and data-fed this activity to SAP to synchronize SAP WIP.

System Integration

  • Designed LIDAR Cartography Client Server suite integrating Riegl LIDAR, NovAtel IMU, & Hasselblad/Cannon APIs
  • This was accomplished using Visual Studio, C++/MFC, C#, and the Boost 4.7 libraries
  • The integration project resulted in the creation of 2 turnkey LIDAR systems used for both manned and Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (UAV) platforms specifically targeting the “Low & Slow” remote sensing market
  • Disciplines learned and applied included but were not limited to Riegl VZ-1000, and Velodyne Laser Scanners, NovAtel IMU and high-end Hasselblad & Sony digital camera integration via numerous APIs.

Sales Forecasting

  • In response to requirements from the sales & marketing department at Eastman Kodak, developed a supplemental application to facilitate forecasting by weighing WIP lots with estimated Yield values, sync these values to the current active workflows, and associate this data with CRM prospects from the sales force.

Bar-Coded Shipping

  • Retired several applications by sitting down with the shop floor personnel, “kaizened” a single bar code enabled application that predicted Finished Inventory, and near finished inventory to manage the entire shipping process that reported activity to the MES system, SAP, and communicated to shipping providers by use of several B2B web services.

Optical Densitometry, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry

  • Performed disassembly, reassembly, and calibration of spot densitometers
  • Managed X-Ray fluorescence lab
  • This involved all SPC, and preventative maintenance.

SPC Quality Control

  • Gathered samples both destructive and non-destructive in running a series of lab tests and recording the results
  • Responded appropriately when issues such as defects or trends were observed
  • This laboratory experience was specific to X-Ray fluorescence spectrometry using a Philips XRG series spectrometer, and Optical densitometry
  • Provided significant effort in preventive maintenance due to the inherent reliability issues of mentioned lab equipment.

Programming

  • Served as a member of a software team developing in-house Chemical Modeling software to facilitate research scientist needs where the primary language was VB, C# .Net.

ESL English Teacher

  • Worked for several public & private schools in Beihai, Guangxi, China as an ESL English Teacher, teaching oral English, and grammar to Chinese Students ranging in age from 4-18 years old.
