Responsible for

• Ensured reliable signal transmission with thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of RF components.
• Construction of Tx/Rx C-Band antennas.
• Repair of Ku/C-band transmitters and transmission lines.
• Power plant maintenance including UPS, battery, breaker, contactor, generator and shore power issues.
• Responsible for the RF transmit chain beyond the Prostream: ASI, Modulator, Upconverter, Transmitter, Transmission line, antenna.

• Managed a team of 7 technicians in the Mid-Atlantic region to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
• Conducted regular performance evaluations for team members, identifying areas for improvement and professional development opportunities.
• Responsible for maintenance of 100 transmitter locations in North Carolina.
• Led the storm disaster recovery team designated to get all of our service back on air after a storm event.
• Wrote all performance reviews for field personnel as well as approved time off requests and timesheets.

Manage field technical operations for the South Eastern US region with 23 direct reports. Responsible for all network hardware associated with one-way and two-way data networks, including 1500 transmitter site locations, 35 switch rooms and our satellite uplink facility in Raleigh, NC.

• Consolidated six paging terminals and a 200 transmitter simulcast system into another system for a savings of $500K per year.
• Designed, Closed the sale, installed and maintained the most advanced paging system in the world for Duke University Health.
• Responsible for all administrative duties involved with engineering: PO's expense approval, tower site leasing, performance reviews, pto requests.
