As a member of the Marine Corps, I developed a strong sense of discipline, pride in my work, and the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges. These qualities have served me well in my professional career and I believe they will continue to be valuable assets as I move forward. After my time in the military, I took on a job as a general laborer, working 12-hour shifts as a personal challenge to understand the value of hard work and to take pride in what I do, no matter what the task may be. I then found myself drawn to the hospitality industry and started working as a bartender at a high traffic resort with no prior experience. I quickly learned the job on my feet and fell in love with the work, finding satisfaction in facilitating good times for guests. In a short time, I became the resort's highest earning bartender and am eager to continue improving my mixology skills and making a positive impact in the industry.
