Robert Griffith

I have been employed by CBP since 2007 at the Port of LA/LB as a CBPO. Prior to CBP, I worked as an federal officer with Navy Region South West in San Diego (2001-2007) as well as serving as active duty Navy from (1992-2001).

Upon completion of FLETC and OJT I was assigned to Radiation Portal Monitors (2008-2014). In 2014 I bid for and rotated to the then Coastal Border Enforcement Team where I served for 3 years. After CBET, I returned to RPM's where I am currently assigned also spending one year with the port's FLEX Team.

Additional duties/experience include a 2 year collateral duty assignment on the Evidence Destruction Security Team, attending the Active Shooter Response Class (40 hour), Weapons of Mass Effect, HAZMAT, and RADICAD schools. I am familiar with plain clothes operations, vehicle follow-out procedures, surveillance operations/locations, and working with outside agencies. In conclusion I previously a worked a 60 day TDY to Nogales, AZ . I was detailed to the I-19 Border Patrol Check Point working directly under Border Patrol's direction and supervision.
