Robert Kluger

For the past 3 years I have volunteered at the local synagogue and religious school as a teachers assistant. There I have helped the third and fourth graders attending learn how to read Hebrew prayers, and study story's in the Torah.

Writopia is a nonprofit organization that fosters and engages kids who are interested in writing. I have been apart of Writopia for 7 years, and I am currently attending it's precollege program called Creative Writing Portfolio. In Creative Portfolio, I engage in writing activities and projects with fellow teenage writers. During that time I have written numerous screenplays, and sketch comedies. I also attended Narrative Therapy, Late Night Comedy, and Screenwriters Workshop. I have also been the winner of 3 playwriting festivals in a row. The festivals have us submit a play that matches a certain theme, and only a select few have their plays read out loud by professional actors. I have attended the summer camps in New York City for 1 summer, as well as a 2 week summer intensive at The New School in NYC.
