Conservation Commission Member

  • Attend meetings, provided input, participated in all Conservation Commission activities.
  • Currently serving as Conservation Commission liaison to the Harbor Commission.
  • Created recently approved policy for ROW adoption for the Town of Jamestown.
  • Currently working on Update to the 2013 Shoreline Inventory (ROW) Report.
  • Organized and ran Conservation Commission meetings during the chairs absence.
  • Met with other stakeholders such as the Town Administrator, Executive Harbor Director, Harbor Commission, CRMC representatives, Audubon Society representatives and Friends of the ROW's to solicit and provide input.

Conanicut Island Sanctuary Volunteer

  • Assisted Chris Powell with Various projects at the sanctuary.
  • Performed various trail maintenance.
  • Supporting Member of the Conanicut Island Raptor Project.
  • Installed Osprey nests at Great Creek, Beavertail, Fox Hill Marsh and at the Sanctuary.
  • Rebuilt observation platform after the underneath supports collapsed.
  • Supervised and assisted with multiple Eagle Scout Projects.
