11+ years of martial arts training, thousands of hours spent training. Fought through a hip labral tear, which made many movements and techniques much harder to execute, let alone the black belt process (lead up to the test) as well as the test itself. Through much frustration and many set backs the rank of Sensei was eventually achieved.
