  • Advance Individual Training (A.I.T) I was trained in the different types of welding.
  • I was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom 3 from 5/04 – 11/05. I took part in force (base) protection which consisted of vehicle & personal search for everyone needing to get on the base. As my unit welder, I also work in the vehicle maintenance section.
  • I was also a part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan 1/12-11/12. I was a carpenter in the Engineer section of my unit. We assisted in training of the Afghan National Army.

  • My M.O.S was 12W which is Wood working/Carpentry. I built objects like: tables, shelf, ladder and floors by reading blueprints related to the job. I was trained with using tools like: table saw, chop saw, hand saw, taking proper measurements with a measuring tape, using a speed square, chalk line, operating an electric drill.
