In charge of all in service training for Postal Inspectors and Postal Police officers in the NY Division. Responsible for supervising approximately 20 part time instructors and 3 full time instructors. This full time position has resulted in becoming an Instructor in the following disciplines:

firearms (various sidearms, shotgun, MP5, M4 Rifle), defensive tactics, officer survival, active shooter, CPR / AED / First Aid, armorer certifications for all weapons.

US Postal Inspector / Federal Agent

February 2002 - March 2011

• Investigate crimes using the mail such as illegal drugs and guns in the mail.
• Investigate robberies and burglaries of the Post Office.
• Investigate mail fraud, credit card fraud, identity theft, and check fraud.
• Investigate assaults and robberies of Post Office employees.
• Gathered facts from interviews of suspects, witnesses, and complainants.
• Collected and preserved physical evidence, photographs and laboratory submissions.
• Delivered calm, professional testimony to support case evidence, establish timelines, and offer law enforcement expertise.
• Interviewed witnesses and suspects.
• Conducted multi-scope research into suspects to determine criminal activities and suspect operating environments.
• Coordinated with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional investigations.

• Assist the Bronx DA with locating witnesses and suspects. Transport prisoners and witnesses from all over the country to the Bronx.
• November 1997 - January 2001, assigned to white collar crimes. This included identity theft, credit card theft, and check fraud.
• Gathered facts from interviews of suspects, witnesses, and complainants.
• Obtained and served search warrants related to ongoing cases.
• Managed surveillance operations effectively, contributing towards timely apprehension of offenders before further crimes were committed.

• Assigned to patrol Rye Playland amusement park in police uniform, supervised by a County Police supervisor.
• Respond to medical emergencies, crimes in progress, and overall security of the park.
• Facilitated traffic control measures during special events for smooth operations and public safety.
• May 1993, came back to this summer job but worked at Tibbetts Brook Park location in Yonkers, NY.
