Riverton

Summary

Life isn't easy, in fact it can be downright unfair and quite unpleasant at times. I've had my fair share of challenges, and through them, I've learned more than one lesson. The most important of which, in my opinion, I learned from my wife: Focus on what you can control and keep an eye on what you can't control until the right opportunity to affect change presents itself. This ideology can and has put me into uncomfortable positions, but it has also led me to my greatest successes.

Throughout my life and the various careers I've enjoyed, I've had to learn to adapt, to push myself outside my comfort zone and taken the proverbial tiger by the tail. Every job I've had for the last twenty five years has, in some capacity or another, put me in a position of proverbial discomfort. It was in those moments that I learned the most and was able to put what I learned into action, resulting in mostly positive results. I am not afraid to make a mistake. They're painful and I'd much rather avoid them, but it is through mistakes and discomfort that our greatest lessons occur. What we do with these lessons and how we capitalize on them is the key to success in any field.
