I took this job as a fill in position. While waiting for a reply from Moran Towing. This was a stern wire tow job, delivering containers between Baltimore, Philadelphia and Norfolk. I was in charge of the 12-6 watch. Duties included; making and Breaking tow, securing the barge to the piers, communications between shoreside crews, office logistics personnel, crew safety policies, monthly drills, and chart updates.

I started with the Alaska State Ferry system as an O.S. I performed vessel maintenance as directed and Passenger assistance. Vehicle coordination and security. I was charged with vessel security and safety rounds.
