Responsible for supervising 2-4 lifeguards and upwards of 10-12 Marine Safety Officers and lifeguards in assigned section of beach. Informing the public of municipal ordinances and assisting the police in the enforcement of said ordinances. Train and assist new lifeguards in SOPs and rescue techniques. Keep beach safe and take preventative measures to ensure safety of the general public. Respond to emergency calls and run rescue scene in assigned section. Perform open water rescue responding in a timely manner either swimming, paddling or with use of PWC.
