• Trial preparation-locate, interview and serve victims and witnesses for court with subpoenas.
• Utilize databases like CLETS,DMV, Accurint, TLO, etc... to locate uncooperative witnesses for court. Also authored search warrants to track cell phones to locate the above mentioned witnesses.
• Law Enforcement Involved Fatal Incidents(LEIFI) investigations. I have been involved in LEIFI investigations as a detective at the San Pablo Police Department and at the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office. I have been lead investigator and assisted on numerous LEIFI's over the years. I have conducted interviews of acting officers, assisting officers, and witnesses and included them in a detailed report.
• While working at the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, I authored a state wire tap affidavit for violent criminal gang members. I was also co-case agent on other wire tap investigations, and worked on over 30 of these investigations. I wrote search and arrest warrants, conducted surveillance, and assisted in interviews of arrested suspect's during major operations.
