Estimatics Team Manager

State Farm Insurance
North Olmsted, OH
06.2022 - Current
  • As an ETM, I manage a team of Estimatics Appraisers to have a team mindset to achieve our ultimate goal, which is to complete accurate estimates, communication, and documentation to assist our claims team in best serving our customers. As an ETM, I am also heavily involved in building relations with both our Select Service repair facilities and non-program shops. This position allows me to introduce and implement out-of-the-box thinking to not only solve potential problems but also improve our overall efficiency and estimate accuracy.

AWC Deployed Claims Specialist

State Farm Insurance Inc
North Olmsted, OH
05.2021 - 06.2022
  • As an AWC CS I've become a jack of all trades learning and becoming proficient at customer service, estimate writing (CCC), express claims, total loss and complex handling mainly on weather (CAT) claims. This position also requires patience, team work and the ability to lead at times with little to no supervision. AWC CS must understand and be able to complete a claim from start to finish while understanding state jurisdictional guidelines and restrictions.

Appraiser - Estimatics

State Farm Insurance Inc
North Olmsted, OH
10.2018 - 04.2021
  • As an AEA, my job role consisted of completing automotive vehicle damage estimates for repair, mainly on collision losses. Estimates would be completed either at repair facilities, insured's residence, insured's place of employment, or VIS locations. The main goal, in my opinion, for AEAs would be to complete an accurate and competitive estimate while providing the highest customer service. My extensive auto body repair background truly assisted me in doing this, as it helped me to review repair facility estimates and determine what was required or not needed for specific repairs, as well as identifying items which may not have been competitive in the market area. I was a contact for multiple AEA's in the Ohio area when it came to vehicle damage and assistance with estimate completion. I was assigned the 'difficult' repair facilities in my general area and was given the privilege of filling in as acting ETM for my ETM while out due to medical reasons. While acting as ETM, I oversaw 6 AEA's while keeping track of production, SS concerns, and customer/repair facility complaints/concerns. I also set team schedules and assisted in how to handle the virtual inspection process at that time (Covid).

Ford Service Assistant Manager / Manager

Steven's Ford
Milford , CT
09.2013 - 02.2016
  • As Ford Service Assistant Manager, I assisted in overseeing 14 technicians, 3 advisors, and 2 porters. I set schedules, assigned ROs to technicians, and ensured quality control. Managed the Ford Quick Lane department, overseeing 8 technicians. Prepared department schedule, opened repair orders for both vehicle repairs and general maintenance. Oversaw Stevens Ford Lincoln certified used vehicle safety inspections. Oversaw Connecticut vehicle emissions testing, all while exceeding sales goals and being the highest rated quick lane in the country.

Auto Body Technician

Steven's Ford Collision
Milford , OH
01.2007 - 09.2014
  • Performed autobody repairs mainly on vehicles involved in collision accidents, including but not limited to body work (body filler), metal straightening, frame repair, welding, panel replacement, electrical repairs, alignments, suspension, and refinish. When first starting, just graduating out of BIT, I swept floors and washed cars. But with hard work and dedication to learn my craft, I became one of three frame 'A' technicians, which is the highest rating you can achieve in just 2 years.
