  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all patrol functions for my assigned shift within my region, provide instruction and leadership of lower-level officers as assigned, monitor sick and annual leave of all employees and ensure that adequate coverage is always in place, review all reports, logs, and other paperwork generated by my subordinates to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance with regulations, policies, and procedures, and inspect officers and equipment to ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
  • I am entrusted to enforce all local, federal and state laws relating to public safety and welfare, perform routine patrol duties including but not limited to patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls and or public calls for assistance, maintaining order and public safety, apprehending and arresting law violators and criminal suspects, issuing traffic citations, and transporting prisoners and mental patients.
