Robert Sahutske

I have been pursuing photography for 3+ years now taking professional level photos for friends and family, and am confident in my abilities to enter more professional settings, and more take on more industry level projects.

SKILL SET

I have been taking classes at Macomb Community College, and have learned a variety of techniques utilizing the different settings on my camera such as shutter speed to control motion blur, aperture for depth of field, and understanding the proper use of ISO for dark settings.

I have practiced portrait photography not only in my classes, but on my own as well. I possess 2 Westscott soft box lamps, and have done professional level work with photo shoots for friends, family, and self portraits.

PROGRAMS

I am also proficient in industry lead programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, with some additional knowledge in Adobe In-Design, and Illustrator. With these programs, I have a deep understanding on how to properly expose, color correct, color grade, and manipulate images. I also know how to shoot a set of HDR images, or stitch images together for a horizontal, or vertical panorama.

PICTURE PERFECT PASSION

In photography I believe a good portrait can capture ones smile, while a great portrait can capture ones essence and ones personality as a whole. Taking candid photos of people when they're feeling raw emotion can really show sides of their personality that makes the viewer feel exactly what the they're feeling, whether it be joy, sorrow or surprise!

I am an entry-level drone pilot who is self taught up to this point, and am very eager to collaborate with other artist on more professional projects to help create visually compelling work!

My passion for landscape work with my drone has given me a strong starting foundation, but I'm especially motivated to test myself and apply my skills to creative, story-focused projects such as short films, or music videos.

• Maneuvered drone around obstacles, obstructions and points of interest such as a standing subject or area of interest.
• Completed careful pre-flight checks and post-flight briefings to maintain safety standards.
• Demonstrated a high level of initiative and creativity while tackling difficult projects.

• Basic understanding of flight zones, no fly zones, and flight permissions.

I am not currently licensed under the FAA.

I am looking into becoming certified as soon as possible.
