I was recruited to WaySpring to develop a clinic in Nashville which would be their first MAT clinic in Tennessee. My Tennessee credentials were essential for an easy transition to an OBOT in downtown Nashville.

I provided an open door policy for pregnant women on medicaid and with a substance use disorder. i maintained all responsibilities of my medical practice including revenue cycle management and financial operations. I hired masters level counselors to provide counseling. I provided these services while receiving TnCare utilizing E-M codes as well as other insurances.

I was the first OBGYN in Springfield and provided services as a sole provider. After becoming aware of excessive opioid use in some pregnant women, I researched treatment and obtained a DEA waiver to prescribe buprenorphine.

I became an expert consultant trying to approach pain management and the problems of opioids. I obtained my Board Certification in 2015. I established a Spanish speaking clinic for a growing population in Springfield. I developed a technique for laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomy using a stapler and published two papers on this . I lectured at the US Surgical annual meeting on this. I then established the pelvic health center which focused on bladder and pelvic floor dysfunction in women.
