
· Responsible for maintaining DNV Stroke Center accreditation
· Responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with stroke program
· Establish and monitor clinical performance criteria to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and offer performance recommendations
· Staff education and direction
· Community Stroke education events
Supervision of department actions, education and development for nursing staff, management of scheduling and staffing needs for nursing staff, precepting newly hired nurses, responding to and assisting in facility stroke alerts, providing education to nurses throughout the division through ED and inpatient skills fairs regarding stroke care, and collaborating with ICU staff to integrate an annual skills fair to provide ICU specific education on stroke care, participating in the recertifications of the department's Total Joint Replacement and Stroke accreditations by providing nursing education on patient care and optimal charting practices and aiding in in-person and virtual surveys, in addition to providing best practice and patient centered bedside nursing care for Med-Surg appropriate patients.
Retail: Conduct training for new employees, develop artwork designs, and collaborate on sales strategies
Warehouse: Conduct training for new employees, coordinate shipping, receiving, and delivery of shipments, maintain up-to-date inventory and sales records
