Serves as Strategic Exercise Planner for USARPAC G37 Exercise staff. Current focus area is support of Korean exercises (Freedom Shield, Ulchi Freedom Shield and Freedom Passage) and U.S.- Japan exercises (Keen Sword, Keen Edge). Plans, coordinates, and executes USARPAC component participation in assigned USINDOPACOM JCS and Service exercises. Coordinate and manage exercise development in conjunction with USINDOPACOM and Service component planners and participants. Develops training objectives that meet USARPAC requirements. Ensures USARPAC and component exercises inform the Defense Readiness Reporting System and fully incorporate the Joint Lessons Learned system. Assists in management of the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and other exercise information management systems. Enhances the command’s capability to train and prepare for a broad spectrum of threats from real or simulated adversaries. Attends planning conferences in support of exercise development, manning, and execution. Develops training objectives in conjunction with exercise participants and USARPAC staff stakeholders. Assists in the coordination with exercise participants and supporters from other DoD and non-DoD organizations. Drafts and develops realistic threat scenarios, that incorporate best-practice inputs from DoD and other agencies. Coordinates exercise criteria to test and stress the command’s training objectives. Consolidates and drafts Exercise Summary Reports (ESR) related to exercise objectives, training objectives, and future design modifications. Produces Warning Orders, Operations Orders, and Fragmentary Orders in support of USARPAC exercises.

Served as Military Deputy Director (Lieutenant Colonel) for USARPAC G34 Protection. Assisted Protection Director to synchronize and integrate programs, policies, plans and exercises that govern antiterrorism, physical security, operations, high risk personnel, critical assets, and infrastructure security. Focused on mitigation of threats and hazards to preserve combat power, safeguard personnel, property and information. Provides operational oversight to Operations, Plans and Exercise section and Personnel Recovery team. Plans and supports Warfighter and Command Post Exercises (CPX). Joint qualified officer with current Secret clearance through July 2026. Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Uses critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.

Supervised and coordinated activities of the Eighth Army Provost Marshal staff in order to enable the Director to advise the Commanding General on all matters pertaining to force structure, training, and employment of Military Police assets in the Korean Theater. Responsibilities included oversight and management of Eighth Army Physical Security, Military Working Dog, and Law Enforcement sections. Planned and executed numerous Warfighter, Command Post Exercises and contingency plan exercises involving the defense of South Korea. Ensured accurate utilization of the Government Purchase Card, and execution of the annual budget for a 27-person section.

Selected as Command Inspector General (IG) for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. Managed an 8 person section consisting of noncommissioned officers, Department of the Army Civilians, and one local national employee. Assessed and reported on all matters affecting economy, efficiency, discipline, morale, welfare and readiness of the command comprised of over 11,000 Soldiers and civilians disbursed throughout Europe. Ensured Inspector General inspections supported the Commanding General by providing improved readiness, training, and quality of life, while emphasizing teaching and training role of the IG. Conducted thorough and impartial inquiries and investigations into allegations of improprieties within the command. Provided timely assistance to the chain of command, Soldiers, civilians and family members. Integrated Inspector General support into exercises and missions of the 21st Theater Support Command.

Deputy Commander for an Area Support Group forward deployed to the Middle East. Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of an Army installation with 21 tenant organizations and approximately 2300 assigned or attached personnel with missions across the CENTCOM area of responsibility. Responsible for Force Protection, contract management, administration, life support, logistics and training of Servicemembers, DoD Civilians and contractors in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Executed responsibility for U.S. Army Forces in Bahrain, UAE and parts of Kuwait. Conducted operational contracting support for a 38-million-dollar Base Operational Service Support contract and a 154-million-dollar operating budget. Supervised all aspects of command readiness and emergency preparedness planning and exercises. Supervised and evaluated 18 junior officers, led team in developing strategic plans to meet operational objectives.

Director of Emergency Services appointed as primary responsible director for law enforcement and fire protection/prevention that encompassed a variety of critical garrison wide programs. Advised the U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Vicenza commander and supporting staff sections of a 15,000 personnel garrison on daily law enforcement activities, physical security, access control, and effective use of Military Police and fire resources within the area of responsibility. Responsible for managing efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of assigned programs including law enforcement, liaison with host nation authorities, implementation of Antiterrorism and Force Protection programs. Inspected facilities and equipment to determine operational and functional capabilities in emergency situations. Kept informed of activities or changes that could affect likelihood of emergencies, factors that could affect response efforts and details of plan implementation. Facilitated emergency management training for staff and conducted emergency planning, exercises and drills. Utilized comprehensive risk analysis to identify, assess and manage emergency management risks.

Served as Multi-National Corps-Iraq Provost Marshal Long Range Plans Officer. Tracked current Military Police operations throughout Iraq. Conducted daily liaison with Army Central, CENTCOM, FORSCOM and United States Joint Forces Command. Planned and coordinated operational movements of personnel and equipment. Integrated intelligence activities into other military operations, plans and programs. Communicated with command centers to develop and execute tactical plans. Coordinated activities of subordinate personnel to support mission success. Developed and implemented plans to reduce risk to personnel and equipment during contingency operations. Ensured critical assets flowed into theater, and that units were properly manned, trained, equipped, and configured to augment or replace existing forces. Conducted and oversaw, General Officer level briefings and after-action reviews. Engaged in both long and short-term project planning, strategizing for on-time, high-quality deliverables.
