Provided training of all new hires for that shift from July 1998 through July 1999., Cross-trained on review, suspense, customer service, claims, and general correspondence., Active member of Diversity and ESI groups. Community Service Representative for five years., Participated in Large Scale Overpayment Group, Psyche Group, and many others over the years., Am an active member in my community. Developed a plan to provide community service opportunities for juveniles, students, civic organizations, etc.. I am currently working with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department to put a Community Services program into place for the Tri-Town area. Students at the Old Orchard Beach High School, as a credit class, will administer the program. They will be responsible for finding needs within the community, maintaining a list of volunteers, recruiting volunteers to supervise juveniles while performing community services, etc.. This could become a state-wide program., Plan on continuing my education through St.Joseph's college for my degree in Health Care Finance Administration., Have taken several courses on presentations, business writing, speaking, etc.. The past years have afforded me the opportunity to try out my leadership skills. I worked with the extended shift which started up in June of 1999 at the Biddeford site. I acted as the team leader whenever needed, provided the training for all new hires, and initiated the new hires. This was done in addition to my provider relations assistant job.
