I oversee the care of lung transplant, COVID-19, pulmonary and cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and congestive heart failure patients. Nursing skills used daily include proficient IV access, phlebotomy, time management, prioritization of clinical instability, and constant communication with providers and other care givers. Furthermore, I manage wound care, activity levels, and fluid balance status on each of our patients.
