Work History

Chemical Operator and Forklift Driver

Cadon Plating
01.2021 - 11.2023
  • As a Chemical Operator, I was in charge of running a 20 stage “nickel plate” line.
  • At the start of the shift, I would check the nickel and acid levels at various “stages” on the line. Ensuring every chemical stage was within recommended pH levels.
  • After double checking that the required parts where in the correct barrel. I would then operate a forklift, lifting the barrel to a hoist. Once connected, the hoist would automatically empty a predetermined amount of parts at the start of the process.
  • I would utilize the master control CPU, to select which recipe to run. Different parts require different "recipes". Double checking with the physical work order, I would run the required program. Starting the plating processing.
  • At various stages, I would confirm the recipe was within standard chemical composition. Inputting data into the CPU and physically checking chemical levels.
  • Confirmed various other measurements and data with the computer and hard copy
  • Quality control and testing at the end of each batch. Quality standards met, would operate a forklift to transport barrels to the next stage.
  • If quality standards were not met, would assist the lead Lab Technician over the phone or in person to troubleshoot what went wrong and where.
  • Worked in shipping and receiving. Operating multiple types of forklifts.
  • Ran an "order picker"
  • Forklift certified by National Safety Compliance

Warehouse Lead

Corvette Depot
03.2021 - 01.2022
  • Over saw daily operations of the warehouse side of the building.
  • Was in charge of opening and closing the building each day.
  • Received corvette parts, performed visual inspections on parts received and then stocked the warehouse
  • Received orders, pulled the requested parts and prepared for shipping.
  • Supervised a small yet diverse group of 3 or 4 individuals.
  • Loaded and unloaded the daily delivery truck.

Production Supervisor, Powder Coating Lead, Hi-Lo

Oakwood Group
04.2013 - 08.2019
  • Was a shift supervisor and paint technician.
  • Supervised around 20 individuals in various departments.
  • As a Paint Tech, I ran around a 200ft computerized powder coating system/line (GEMA). With eight automatic guns, four on each side.
  • I would use the system's computer (GEMA) for various tasks. The most important would be which "recipe" I would need to run. This would be determined by which type of product we were coating.
  • I would take a sample of the chemical baths. Testing the acid levels, pH & oil levels. And comparing the results to what was required for the current "recipe".
  • Based on results, added the needed chemicals to the tank to produce the correct levels to titrate the tank.
  • Checked the powder. Making sure it was the correct powder for the needed recipe.
  • Double checking all safety steps were met before starting the "line".
  • Double checking the "line" at various stages to ensure quality control. Confirming the the computer and visually that all chemical and powder levels were in check.
  • Performing basic "line" maintenance when necessary (EX: line jammed or a paint nozzle needing replacement).
  • Assisted in various other departments as needed.
  • As Shift Supervisor, I ran the start of shift meetings. Where I would confirm with the team what orders we needed to complete that shift.
  • Completed an assortment of State and Federal recommend classes/courses in extensive Supervisor training.

Store Manager
