• Hired and manage more than 75 staff members (consisting of student interns, college work study participants and event staff positions, both in the office and at athletic events).
• Assist in the payroll process for student staff, as well as in the staff scheduling for all athletic events.
• Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, business, compliance and others, to organize and plan for events.
• Contribute to project planning and management, including working within the department budget, as well as coordination of coach preferences and the establishment of related timelines.
• Oversight of all St. John’s University athletics facilities, including Carnesecca Arena, Belson Stadium, Jack Kaiser Stadium, DaSilva Field, Red Storm Field, and Taffner Field House.
• Serve as main point of contact for all visiting sports teams, ensuring their seamless arrival and departure, and an overall positive experience.
• Directly engage various clients nationwide to assist with their
business plans and operations, as well as their applications for licensure.
• Transformed the way project management is carried out for the company; revamped and streamlined communication with clients, as well as focused the company’s social media presence.
• Coordinate CEO’s schedule; schedule client meetings.
• Assist with all sports operations, including preparation
and maintenance, set-up and breakdown of all facilities and fields.
• Game-day host/point of contact for visiting teams/officials, as well as
to prepare visiting teams’ guides for home games.
• Represented the New York Giants and New York Jets organizations, The Giants Foundation, and Jets Foundation by selling 50/50 raffle tickets to fans on game days, benefiting the foundations and their charitable activities.
• Assisted team and coaches with practice and game operation.
• Worked closely with several parties (Director of Basketball Operations, coaches, opposing teams and schools) to ensure that all activities occurred smoothly and efficiently.
• Responsibilities included: Video coordination, practice statistics, clock management, and team travel logistics.
• Founded, marketed, organized, scheduled and ran my own basketball fundamental skills and conditioning camps for up to 20 local elementary, middle and high school basketball players per session.
