• Design and development: Electrical Engineers design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and components for flight simulators and training devices. Control loading and motion systems. Avionics and flight control systems.
• Troubleshooting and repair: Troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and modify electrical components, equipment, and systems within the simulators. This involves:Using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit card testers. Accessing and interpreting system schematics and electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.Diagnosing and correcting deficiencies in the simulation based on customer feedback and test data.
• Testing and verification: Set up and conduct tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of simulator components and systems.
