Operate one or more types of specialized, complex heavy-duty motorized and automotive equipment and one or more types of motorized and automotive equipment in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the City’s public works infrastructure. The class works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Duties consisted of cleaning the sewer lines using a wash truck, conducts smoke testing in sewer lines, operates a sewer line camera to televise sewer lines to determine the condition of the line and the need for repair and perform skilled maintenance and repair a variety of mechanical equipment. Perform a variety of technical duties in the operation and maintenance of the City’s inflow/infiltration program for the Department of Public Works Wastewater Division. Work under close supervision according to set procedures.

Receive and distribute online orders by selecting requested items for customers, bagging these items and delivering them safely to a customer's home or vehicle. Provide excellent customer service to customers inquiring about online services at Wal-Mart. Stock inventory when needed, perform general maintenance duties when needed as well as support lead staff and the store's manager. Duties also include operating pallet jacks on a daily basis.

Summer intern position with Fleet Services for the City of Hampton. Performed vehicle maintenance diagnostic testing, completed oil changes, provided brakes service and all preventative maintenance. Power tools used included, impacts, wrenches and scanners.
