• Hangar bay renovation LF 60 NOB Remodel and cantilever . Removal of AFFF equipment using precautions determined by NAVFAC so the client can accommodate its final destination. Over saw the demolition and provided some basic masonry tasks towards the rebuilding of the offices inside the building. • Government Description: renovate and repair Hangar LF-60 for HSC-26 at Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia. This task order includes two options which, if exercised, would increase the cumulative task order value to $13,553,847. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 2025. Fiscal 2023 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,791,547 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This task order was competitively procured via the sam.gov and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment websites, with two offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

• I provided expert assistance with maintenance of day to day activities such as keeping site tidy for NAVFAC Engineers. Preparing site for storms and high winds with careful consideration of being the tallest building on street. Install signage for property management, NAVFAC Facilities, NAVSEA, onsite SSHO and our own needs. Provided technical services with accurate measurements and repairs following above ground procedures. Discovered cracks in concrete surfaces for eventual repair prior to the drainage system. Customized siding on rooftop structures accommodating new concrete roof design. Removed 2200 feet of flashing around the rooftop edge following above ground safety procedures. Hung new signage for completion of project per needs of building Management.

• Provided assistance for critical path. This site had a handful of contractors providing services at any time. It was a constant push to keep the walkways clear and the debris under control. The contractors were working in areas that could not be easily traversed due to the installs being oversized for the chase designs of the building. Building maintenance such as grass and shrubbery needed cutting and maintenance. Re-cut holes in wall bathroom cabinets when necessary. Various masonry repairs client would not approve, in contract. The project ended with all the 324 rooms needing general repairs and testing before the project could be closed.

• Government Description: This project will repair and renovate Building 288 located at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, Portsmouth Annex (NSA HR PA) Virginia. Mechanical systems repaired by replacement include the heating, ventilation, structural systems and associated equipment to consist of but not limited to ductwork, piping, hardwired programmable thermostat controls, occupancy sensors, exhaust systems and testing. The mechanical systems will be monitored by a new direct digital control system which shall be integrated into the existing base-wide system. Repairs are also to include remediation and other minor corrective actions related to accomplish the work. Renovation of the residential units, laundry rooms, common and administrative areas shall be performed. Some interior doors have been modified and will require replacement, all others to remain as existing. Exterior residential unit doors with latching/locking mechanism failures will be replaced. Exterior upgrades include select site and building lighting and concrete walk repair at failed joints and areas of lift.

• Upstairs and downstairs multi stall bathroom sink and toilet setup. Remodeled mid-century bathroom. Offset cinder block wall adapted into the new design. Completed work on time. I played as a part-time temporary Quality Assurance, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Superintendent when the job site needed it. I made some cuts into the cinder block wall that were not in the contract. Provided cuts into the floor and drilled over a hundred holes into the brand new tile wall. Patched masonry regarding holes in the wall and finished the drywall with matched paint.

• I provided Quality Assurance, Super Intendent services on this site throughout the beginning and end of this site. Incomplete remodel of this building. All 4 bays new CVT tile, 7 doors in building replaced, replaced floating ceiling with a water proof one. Steam cleaned the bathrooms, removed and installed modern shelving, replaced the prior toilet stalls, pressure washed the outside of the building, and had ½ of the hvac system cleaned and tested for NAVFAC.
